Start With Safety in Mind

 

Non slip flooring is an essential. In our professional opinion, wet room Altro flooring is the gold standard. Tested in real world conditions using shower gels and other products rather than just water, which ensures safety at all times and greatly reduces the likelihood of a slip.

Walk in Bathtub vs Walk in Shower – The Big Debate!

For those that enjoy a long relaxing soak, walk in bathtubs with opening doors are an option. These are typically quite a pricey option and will cost you more than a normal bath. A full wet room is more cost effective, and allows for greater access needs – accommodating for wheelchair users. You can combine this with either height adjustable seating, or a built in ledge seat.

The Devil Is In The Details

 

While flooring, baths, and showers make up the bulk of the room, its important not to overlook the smaller details. Consider hanging doors so they open into the wall rather than the room, or even installing sliding doors – perfect for wheelchair users. Grab bars and hand rails help offer independence whilst ensuring support is in place to maximise safety. When it comes to the toilet, consider comfort height toilets with a little extra height for ease of use.

Do you offer any other services?

What areas do you cover?

We cover all of Shropshire, including Telford, Shrewsbury, Newport, Ironbridge, Craven Arms, and Bridgnorth.

Can we make amendments to suit our budget?

Of course, our expert team of designers will be able to guide you through the process. We can make amendments on the fly and advise on the cost as we build your design. No number of changes is too many – we’re always happy to help.

How long do installs take?

This will vary on the size of your install, components selected, and availability of stock. Our team will be able to provide you with an estimate on work once they have quoted. We’ve been known to complete a full rip out and install within as little as a week. On larger installs this could go up to 3 weeks.

What is my warranty period?

We provide a 12 month warranty on all works carried out, this is also usually topped up by warranty from the parts manufacturer too. Again, this will vary, however warranties range from a year up to 30 years.

When can you begin the install?

Our team will be able to advise on exact dates when we run through your quote. Our current lead time is around 2 months from quote acceptance, but again this can vary.
